Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 5, 2026

These terms govern your use of astonesoft.com and any services you engage Astonesoft ("we", "us", "our") to provide. By using our site or engaging our services, you agree to the terms below.

1. Who we are

Astonesoft is a digital studio based in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria, providing web design and development services to clients in Nigeria and internationally.

Contact us at hello@astonesoft.com or +234 913 130 6301.

2. Use of this website

This site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, and design — are the property of Astonesoft unless otherwise stated, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial use, but may not copy, reproduce, or repurpose our content, design, or code without written permission.

3. Project engagements

Any website design, development, or related work we carry out for a client is governed by the specific proposal, quote, or contract agreed for that project. These general terms apply in addition to, not instead of, any such agreement. Where the two conflict, the specific project agreement takes precedence.

Typical project terms include:

  • A project begins once scope and payment terms are agreed in writing (including by email).
  • Clients are responsible for providing timely content, feedback, and approvals needed to keep a project on schedule.
  • Revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional fees, communicated before work proceeds.

4. Payment

Payment schedules are agreed on a per-project basis, typically involving an upfront deposit and a final payment before launch or full file handover. Work may be paused if agreed payment milestones are missed.

5. Ownership & intellectual property

Upon full and final payment, ownership of the final delivered website (excluding third-party assets, licensed fonts, stock media, and tools) transfers to the client. Astonesoft retains the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio and marketing unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Third-party services

Our site and client projects may rely on third-party services such as Google Analytics, EmailJS, and Cloudinary. We aren't responsible for outages, changes, or issues arising from these third-party services, though we'll do our best to keep things running smoothly.

7. Limitation of liability

We aim for our work and website to be accurate, reliable, and available, but we make no guarantees to that effect. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astonesoft is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site or our services.

8. Termination

Either party may end a project engagement in line with the notice terms set out in the relevant project agreement. Work completed up to the point of termination remains payable.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our site after changes means you accept the revised terms.
